Green Caeser Cream Dressing
Here’s an extra sprightly salad dressing or dip to try in creative ways…several options for your own signature flavors! This blend obviously adds some wild green color to the usual creamy white version…but it’s so good you won’t need excuses for sharing it on days that don’t happen to be St. Patrick’s.
INGREDIENTS (for approx. 3/4c.)
1/4 cup raw cashews (soaked a few hours ahead if possible)
1/8 cup raw pumpkin seeds (soaked same as cashews)
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp cold-pressed extra virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Himalayan Salt
1 tsp raw Klamath Blue-Green Algae Body Love
1 tsp diced raw Dulse or Nori sea vegetable
1 tsp raw Yacon Syrup
1/4 cup water or celery juice (to thin as desired)
1 medium clove garlic, chopped
fresh ground black pepper to taste
1 tsp mild miso
Using a hand blender or in a blender, combine all ingredients (starting with 1 tsp Yacon Syrup) and purée until very smooth. Add additional water to thin dressing if desired. Taste test, adding additional sweetener or lemon juice if desired. Toss fresh crisp greens, dip raw veggies, drizzle on wraps…it all does a Body GREAT!
